guerrilla queer bar in denver launched with
guerrilla festivities at the denver gay pride
parade on june 23, 2002. the parade route
followed a trek from cheeseman park, down colfax to
civic center park. guerrilla coordinators, who
wish to remain anonymous, dressed in gaudy gorilla
costumes during the parade. the guerrilla
queer bar has already received investor interest
and capital, enabling quick development and launch
of website facilities. the mailing list swelled
before launching the website due to anticipated
interest by the denver community. join the denver
guerrillas as they celebrate the launch of the
most fabulously fun bar you've ever been to! with
much anticipation, the denver gay community awaits
the first guerrilla queer bar event in denver
scheduled for late july. event details are
announced through the mailing list. mailing list
subscriptions are free. the guerrilla gazette
obtained an exclusive interview with the elusive
coordinator spokesperson of the denver guerrillas,
billy trix. when asked about the email list,
billy was quoted as noting "the guerrillas do
not sell or make available your email address to
anyone, not even for sexual favors."

however event location is kept secret until a day

Here comes Guerrilla Queer Bar...Denver's Newest Gay Bar.
Guerrilla Queer Bar (Or the "Traveling Gay Fun Zone" as the like to call themselves) is a new idea that has turned San Francisco nightlife on its head and and spread to 14 cities.
Its simple...Each month the Guerrillas pick a straight bar or
restaurant and "Make it Ours for a Night" by descending upon it en masse. Sometimes dressed up...sometimes as one stop on a wild bar
crawl. Its always spontaneous and fun.
