it's time for some night school!

"it's about time" one guerrilla subscriber wrote to me as i was putting the finishing touches on my lesson plan. chicken mastery is one of the many challenging and rewarding classes offered by the institute of guerrilla queer bar designed specifically for hands on experience at our boulder campus. this saturday night, you're invited to enroll in chicken mastery. this class is comprised of 3 "breeze right on through whilst tipsy" lessons. if you're a good class, your instructor may offer some late night "extra credit." the guerrilla boys and girls haven't made a mess in boulder yet, so let's strap on some sandals and head to boulder for some night school. drink a red bull or two, because when it comes to the study of chicken, you could be up all night. just maybe, you'll arrive home the next morning feeling like you learned something you'll use later in life. better yet, maybe you'll learn something you'll use night after night. so join us for us for billy's chicken hunt in boulder, and billy might just teach you a lesson.

lesson one: chicken & eating

start your first lesson in chicken, learning all about how yummy chicken tastes. this group meets at juanita's in boulder starting at 7ish for nibbles and margaritas before tackling lesson 2. whether you've got chicken sitting next to you, chicken on your plate, or chicken in your mouth, you'll thank billy for this lovely informative lesson in chicken. "lesson one, chicken & eating" certainly isn't a prerequisite to lesson 2, but take it from billy, experience pays. it's always good to be well versed in many techniques when it comes to chicken.

lesson two: chicken & drinking
saturday, may 3, starting at 9 ish
the walrus, 1911 11th street, boulder, co 80302

start your second lesson in chicken "lesson two: chicken & drinking" by joining billy and his entourage a few blocks away at the walrus starting at 7ish. after a few drinks, even bad chicken starts to look appetizing. after dark the college students take over. the weekend nights are usually packed, so be prepared to spend your evening pressed up against strangers. the walrus is known for friendly faces in a laid-back, yet drunken, atmosphere. are you a fabulous friend of billy, but have a non gender matching id? are you craving to throw peanut shells on the floor? are you not accepted by your local "peanuts on the floor" gay bar? well then join us at the walrus! the walrus gives you the opportunity to throw peanut shells on the floor and smash them with your high heels. enjoy a lot of drinks, because your next lesson is only footsteps away.

lesson three: chicken & dancing
saturday, may 3, starting at 10 ish
round midnight, 1005 pearl street, boulder, co 80302

start your third lesson in chicken "lesson three: chicken & dancing" by joining billy and his entourage at round midnight starting at 10ish. round midnight is a block south of the walrus, on pearl street, across from the daily camera newspaper. in this lesson we demonstrate how chicken can dance. wow! watch how chicken can move! they never stop! it's almost as if chicken can go all night long! if you haven't been to round midnight, you're in for a treat! the decor puts some denver bars to shame. dj k-nee will be on scene spinning some toe tappin' tunes, and as always, the guerrillas will pack the place and leave a big 'ol mess. there's no dress code at round midnight, and it's only $3 at the door. the men's bathroom offers a unique opportunity... i couldn't stop giggling! you'll see what i mean when you get there. after eating with the chicken, drinking with the chicken, and dancing with the chicken, you're sure to be on your way to chicken mastery.
