we're sure to make a splash! it's been a crazy guerilla year. nestled in the south side of denver, the cool river cafe is a high-falutin' place for hetero-couples to coalesce and conduct their pre-copulative mating rituals. much of the crowd is quite stuffy, and so we're going to show them how to really have fun! the party starts at 8, and in true guerrilla fashion, billy wants everyone to be on time! several cocktail waitresses were kind enough to inform billy of a funk-disco band that plays every friday night at 10. you don't wanna miss this excursion!

stuffy buffy?

the crowd may be a little stuffy, but this place is huge! it not only has a restaurant, but also a very large bar area with two grand rooms and a northerly-facing outdoor patio. billy and the guerrillas will have the opportunity to conquer the cool river section by section.

live performances by boogie machine, staring dick wiggler!

billy's not joking - dick wiggler is one of the four in this fabulous live band. it's the ultimate 70's disco dance party, and it's live baby! two fabulous femmes and two freaky studs dish out the funk like a runaway train bound for bootie heaven. sporting the biggest afros you've ever seen, boogie machine pumps out the great ones from k.c. & the sunshine band, donna summer, chic, the bee gees, & gloria gaynor just to name a few. wondering of some lovely guerrilla queens will get up on stage with the band? you know the answer!

the cool river cafe is nestled in a strip mall in the heart of the denver tech center. from broadway and i-25, pretend to head towards colorado springs' colorado for family values, then make a detour towards snobbery. exit from i-25 to belleview ave and turn left. the cool river will be on your right hand side. cool river has no dress code to speak of. the waitresses already love the guerrilla scouting party! the patrons of cool river may stick their noses up at a guerrilla or two, but just remember we can stick our legs up much higher than their nose jobs.
