are you not working this monday because of the holiday? are you looking for something different to do on a sunday evening? well billy's got just the solution for you! grab that feather boa out of your closet and join us downtown as we go bowling! that's right buttercup, billy's gonna throw some balls around and hopefully hit a thing or two. he might just knock over some pins as well! join billy for his first boa party at the brand new, ultra cool, hollywood hip, über swanky lucky strike lanes in the denver pavilions.

billy, what is lucky strike?

lucky strike is brand new to denver. its the hippest bowling place you'll ever find. lucky strike combines dining, bowling, multi-media art, cocktails and great music all mixed up in a cool plush lounge setting. this is definitely not your father's bowling alley! there are 12 bowling lanes with automatic scoring, 3 billards tables, a full service 50 foot bar, a dj/vj, swanky retro décor and "the latest in ball return technology". now billy isn't quite sure what that means, but if balls come back to billy faster, then that's probably a good thing!

billy, how much does it cost to bowl?

here's the deal snickerdoodle, you have two options for your bowling pleasure. you can play it game by game for $5.95 per game, per person. or if you're into groups, you and your friends can go in together and rent a lane for $45 an hour for up to 12 people. what you do is up to you. either way, shoe rental is $3.95. if you need a boa, check out the new guerrilla supplies section here.

yes pookie, the dress code is stricter than a nun on playground recess duty at a catholic boys school. don't break the dress code or you can't get in. (as if any of billy's boys and girls would even dress this way to begin with.)

lucky strike is downtown in the denver pavilions on the 16th street mall between welton and glenarm. its on the third floor opposite of the united artist movie theater. there is plenty of underground parking in the pavilion's garage. garage parking is only $5 after 5pm. the garage entrance is on welton street. since lucky strike's dress code is very strict, keep your boa under wraps and hidden until you get all the way inside. you don't want to upset big bouncer guys! and remember, stay out of the gutter. hope to see you there!
