billy and a couple hundred of his closest friends squeezed into don's mixed drinks on friday november, 19th to say goodbye to don's before its upcoming closure. some of billy's buddies started their evening across the street at brother's bbq. billy's guests who got to don's early were greeted by our landmark hostess amber. amber handed out floppy treats for all of the early birds.

margarita madness at mezcal

billy and friends packed the happy hour at mezcal on sunday afternoon, september 12th. this great little mexican spot served up hundreds of margaritas to billy and friends. mezcal is home to the best margaritas in denver according to westword and the rocky mountain new's penny parker. penny stopped by to sip on her favorite marg and to check in on billy. everyone at mezcal was treated to a complimentary "guerrilla shot" by the friendly bar staff. this yummy guerrilla shot was cranberry juice, mango juice and of course, tequila. kudos to mezcal on the great margaritas and excellent shots! check out the party pics here.
